Privacy Policy

In short: the files and text you use in ToolSolvo's tools stay on your device. We use Google Analytics to count visits, which sets cookies. We don't have accounts or advertising.

Files, text and numbers you use in the tools

Every tool on ToolSolvo (PDF, image, Urdu, calculator and everyday tools) does its work in your browser on your own device. The files you choose, the text you type or paste, and the numbers you enter in calculators are not uploaded to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them, and we do not store them.

  • Your files are held in your browser’s memory only while the tool is open, and are cleared when you leave.
  • Results you download are created on your device. When you press a Copy button, text is placed on your device’s clipboard, and nowhere else.

What your browser downloads from us

Like any website, your browser downloads ToolSolvo’s pages, code and fonts from our server. Three tools also download extra files the first time you use them:

  • the Background Remover downloads an AI model (about 42 MB);
  • Image to Text (OCR) downloads a text-recognition engine (about 4 MB) and the data for the language you choose (about 3 MB for English, 1 MB for Urdu);
  • the Image Translator downloads the same text-recognition engine and English data.

These downloads start only when you use those tools, and your browser may keep them in its normal cache so it doesn’t need to download them again. ToolSolvo does not save them in your browser’s storage. All of these files come from ToolSolvo itself, not from other companies.

The Image Translator also uses the translator built into your browser. The first time you translate into a language, your browser, not ToolSolvo, downloads that language pack from the browser’s maker (for Google Chrome, from Google). ToolSolvo does not send your image or its text to anyone: the text is passed to the translator inside your browser.

Server logs

ToolSolvo is hosted by Google Firebase. Like most hosts, it may automatically record technical details of each request, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, and your browser type. These logs are used to run and protect the site. They do not contain the files or text you use in the tools. How long they are kept is set by the host.

Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics, through Google’s Firebase service, to see how many people visit ToolSolvo and which pages and tools they open. When a page loads, your browser downloads Google’s analytics script and sends Google details such as the page address, the page that linked to it, your approximate location (worked out from your IP address), your device and browser type, and how long you stay.

  • Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…) and stores an identifier in your browser’s storage, so that repeat visits can be counted. These do not identify you by name.
  • Analytics never receives the files, text or numbers you use in the tools. Those stay on your device, as described above.
  • The Background Remover page does not load Google Analytics.
  • Google handles this information under its own privacy policy.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Google Analytics opt-out add-on. The tools work the same either way. ToolSolvo does not show advertising.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to reply and to fix the problem you reported. We don’t sell it or share it, and we delete messages when they are no longer needed.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to other websites, such as official sources for calculator figures. Those websites have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.

Children

ToolSolvo does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information, and does not knowingly collect it beyond the visit statistics described above.

Your choices and rights

Because the tools don’t collect personal information, the only personal information we may hold is emails you have sent us. Analytics data is held by Google and shown to us only as totals and reports. You can ask us to tell you what we hold or to delete it by writing to toolsolvo@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under your local data-protection law.

Changes to this policy

If the way ToolSolvo handles information changes, we will update this page and its effective date. See also our Terms of Use.
