  2. 2Click Convert to PDF.
  3. 3Download the PDF and open it to check the result.

Good to know

This converter reads your document’s structure and lays it out as a new PDF. It does not use Microsoft Word, so the result is tidy and readable but will not look identical to the original.

Kept

  • Headings, paragraphs, bold, italic, underline and strikethrough
  • Bulleted and numbered lists, tables and hyperlinks
  • JPG, PNG, GIF and BMP images, scaled to fit the page

Not kept

  • Fonts, font sizes, colours, highlighting and text alignment
  • Headers, footers, page numbers, manual page breaks and multi-column layouts
  • Text boxes, shapes, charts, SmartArt and EMF/WMF drawings
  • Exact image sizes and table column widths (tables are fitted to the page width)

Text uses the Roboto font, which covers Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts. Characters from other scripts, such as Chinese, Arabic or Hindi, may not display.

For a pixel-perfect copy, open the document in Word or LibreOffice and use “Save as PDF”.
